“Is there not a cause?”

As a U.S. Congressional Candidate for Florida District 25, I don’t view myself as politician, but a statesman. A politician will compromise Biblical principles to gain favor with his constituents and party. A statesman will not compromise Biblical principles knowing he will have to stand before God for his actions. Founding Father “President” John Adams was a statesman. He declared, “The duration of future punishments terrifies me,” knowing he would have to stand before God for his policy making.

My platform is titled “Is there not a cause?” It’s not a political movement but a move of God to restore Him to His rightful place of recognition in our nation once again. When David got tired of hearing Goliath mocking God, he announced, “Is there not a cause?” David’s cause was knowing God’s reputation was at stake and David’s love and passion for God outweighed his fear and possible death. Like David, I have grown tired of politicians mocking God, denying and suppressing the factual truth about our Godly heritage - and so should you. For many years, because of my love for God, I have been working in a non-official capacity holding public officials (on both sides of the aisle) accountable to their unconstitutional and immoral legislation.

Examples of Issues - we must address

Congressman Mario Diaz Balart is a politician - not a statesman. He was part of a bipartisan bill to criminalize Christians for the sake of equality. “Is there not a cause?”

At a town hall meeting on May 29, I had the opportunity to personally hand Florida Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart a copy of my letter regarding HR5 (“Equality Act”). After introducing myself followed by a few words of casual talk, the Congressman assured me he would get back to me with a response. In the letter, I address how he along with eight other House Republicans aligned themselves with Democrats by voting in favor of HR5 (“Equality Act”) which protects the LBGTQ community from discrimination. The “Equality Act” will criminalize Christians for their faith, if they don’t comply with this bill. Here is the link to my letter: http://allianceforreligiousfreedom.com/hr5-equality-act-criminalizing-christianity/

The Congressman replied to me….

“As you know, this bill would prohibit discrimination based on one’s gender identity, sex, and sexual orientation. While I voted in favor of H.R. 5 when it passed the House on May 17, 2019, I do believe it is a highly flawed piece of legislation that requires further debate in the Senate.
Protecting religious freedom has always been a priority for me. Throughout my time as your Representative, I have voted for and co-sponsored numerous bills that protect and promote religious freedom. I have also dedicated my career to fighting against discrimination in all its forms. There is no denying that this piece of legislation was just another messaging bill pushed by Democratic Leadership that has no chance of passing the Senate and becoming law in its current form. If House Democrats wanted to pass real legislation, they would have included bipartisan language providing legitimate protections for families, individuals, medical professionals, and religious organizations who object based on their deeply held religious beliefs. However, I cannot oppose a bill that seeks to prevent discrimination and that is why I voted in favor of H.R. 5.
I understand your concerns that this bill would weaken protections for religious institutions, medical professionals, and parents.”

This is a typical statement of a waffling politician – not a statesman, saying at the same time “I’m for it and I’m against it.” The religious beliefs of those we elect into office, who profess to be Christians, is what provides security for America’s Republic and our citizens.

Florida Senator Joe Gruters is politician – not a statesman. This bill is an attack on religious conscience. Gays have rights-not special rights. “Is there not a cause?” - Pull this immoral bill now!

On March 1, my wife and I received an email from the Christian Family Coalition informing us of a recent bill filed by Florida Republican Senator Joe Gruters that would legally discriminate and persecute Christians. I shared the information on social media along with a meme, “Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, Senator Joe Gruters, filed a bill to legalize persecution against Christians!!!”  The Senator from Florida responded, “My bill says you can’t be fired for being gay. Pretty simple.” His response – or lack of – prompted me to right a letter to the Senator.

Senator Gruters, you filed a bill (SB 438) legalizing discrimination and persecution of Christians who don’t affirm homosexuality and trans-sexuality in the work place. As a supposed conservative and newly elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, I’m shocked at this proposed bill. First, this legislation is entirely unnecessary as the FL statutes already clearly spell out that discrimination is illegal in all forms to any person. Second, your bill is unconstitutional, the Preamble of the Florida Constitution reads, “We, the people of the State of Florida, being grateful to Almighty God for our constitutional liberty” Section 2.  “Basic rights.—All natural persons, female and male alike, are equal before the law and have inalienable rights.” In God’s eyes,  homosexuality and trans-genderism is not natural. In Genesis 5:2 God’s Word says, “He created them male and female.” However, since they are created in God’s image they do have rights, but not special rights. When you legislate sin, it does not become moral and in a nation under God, He will not be mocked! Senator Gruters is not a statesman-but a politician.  Here is the link of my letter to the Senator:  http://allianceforreligiousfreedom.com/fl-sen-joe-gruters-pull-this-immoral-bill-now/

“In God We Trust” or “In Allah We Trust” - only representatives who acknowledge the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the source of our “civil and religious liberty” should hold office.  “Is there not a cause?”

Minnesota State Senator Dan Hall introduced an amendment (that passed) proposing schools be allowed to display the words “In God We Trust.” Senator John Marty responded, “The money in my wallet has to say ‘In God We Trust?’ I think that’s offensive.” Senator Scott Dibble suggested using “Allah” in place of “God” – as in “In Allah We Trust.” I wrote a letter to the Senators, raising the question, “If you find God so offensive why did you take an oath of office acknowledging God as the source of Minnesota’s ‘civil and religious liberty?’” The Preamble of the Minnesota Constitution declares, “We, the people of the state of Minnesota, grateful to God for our civil and religious liberty, and desiring to perpetuate its blessings and secure the same to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution.” My letter was sent out to nearly 100 chairmen of Minnesota’s Democrat and Republican parties. I received numerous responses from my letter, however, Steve Monk, Chairman of Olmsted County 25 DFL was the most disturbing. He replied, “Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Perhaps the MN state constitution needs to be challenged on this.  As a long standing member of FFRF.org (Freedom From Religion Foundation), I may suggest this.  After all, as a resident of MN, I have standing. BTW, Patriotism can exist without flags and religious freedom is not secured with a motto.” “Is there not a cause?” Yet not one fellow Republican responded in defense of God and Minnesota’s Constitution. In America’s constitutional republic every American citizen has the freedom of conscience to believe God is the source of our rights, or not. However, only those representatives who acknowledge God as the source of our “civil and religious liberty” should hold office. If not-we are nothing more than a degenerating constitutional democracy that will ultimately lead to communism. If elected to Congress I will fight against communism and those domestic enemies who want to destroy our Constitution!

Oath of office – Bible or Quran? Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar are enemies of the Constitution of the United States. “Is there not a cause?”

As Congressman of District 25, “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic-so help me God.”

For nearly four centuries the oath taking process in America consisted of raising your right hand and placing your left hand on the Bible then saying, ‘…so help me God. Our Founding Fathers who framed the Constitution believed the oath process was a religious activity. James Madison stated: “An oath-the strongest of religious [Christian] ties…”

Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar became the first two Muslim women to be elected to Congress. Upon taking office, Tlaib and Omar chose to use the Quran versus a Bible in taking their congressional oath of office – this is unconstitutional in America’s republic.

I will confront Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of her home state of Minnesota’s Constitution Preamble- “We, the people of the state of Minnesota, grateful to God (not Allah) for our civil and religious liberty, and desiring to perpetuate its blessings and secure the same to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution.”

Defending God and protecting our unalienable rights against communism – “Is there not a cause?”

Our Founding Fathers, repeatedly affirmed that an oath of office was a religious act. They explicitly rejected any notion that an oath was secular. James Madison stated: “An oath – the strongest of religious [Christian] ties…” Founding Father President John Adams. Daniel Webster was considered the great “Defender of the Constitution” he stated, “Our system of oaths in all our courts, by which we hold liberty and property and all our rights, are founded on or rest on Christianity and a religious belief.”

For many years Democrats (communists) have fought to remove the Christian religion from the public square. The party’s hatred for God exploded at the 2012 DNC convention when delegates voted to remove God from their party platform. Recently, the secularist Democrats continued their attack on America’s Godly heritage. Congress has now removed “so help me God” from the U.S. House of Representatives oath taking process. Witnesses appearing before congressional committees will no longer have to testify truthfully before God, but the new god, Congress. Many of our representatives on the left and the right have become culturally and politically silent with the things of God. Not one fellow republican opposed this unconstitutional move by the communist party to remove God – “Is there not a cause?!”  In America our national motto is “In God We Trust.” If our elected officials won’t acknowledge God and put their trust in Him, then its time for them to be removed in 2020, not God!

You either put your trust in God or you become a god unto yourself. Please read my letter in defense of God: http://allianceforreligiousfreedom.com/in-defense-of-god/

Wake up America! Gun violence is a constitutional crisis of the First Amendment that needs to addressed – not undermining our God given Second Amendment rights!? “Is there not a cause?”

Our Founding Fathers believed the Christian religion, unlike our civil laws, could prevent the hate that leads to gun violence. They knew the only way “We The People” could continue to benefit from self government was to restrain  man’s wicked heart through “religion and morality” (our nation’s foundations). Founding Father President John Adams explains: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.” Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Samuel Adams agreed: “[N]either the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt.” Evidently our representatives in government don’t believe in God. As Congressman I would be working on restoring our nation’s foundations of “religion and morality.” I would start by putting prayer, the Bible and the Ten commandments back in our schools. Instead, our illegitimate government has its sights set on attempting to pass laws that will undermine our unalienable and God given Second Amendment rights?!

Requiring schools to teach about LGBT history is an attack on religious freedom, persecuting Christian children who don’t affirm homosexuality, and trans-sexuality.  “Is there not a cause?”

To all Illinois Senators –

Recently, the Illinois Senate approved SB3249 requiring public schools to teach LGBT history. Requiring schools to teach about the history of gays, lesbians and other LGBT individuals is unconstitutional.

Note the Illinois Constitution Preamble:
“We, the people of the State of Illinois, grateful to Almighty God for the civil, political and religious liberty which He hath so long permitted us to enjoy and looking to Him for a blessing on our endeavors …”

SB3249 is also an attack on religious freedom, persecuting Christian children who don’t affirm homosexuality, and trans-sexuality. Since Illinois’ constitution recognizes God as the source of “civil, political and religious liberty,” shouldn’t God’s curriculum be taught?

In Genesis 18-19 of the Old Testament, God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality. The Word of God says in Leviticus 18:22 “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination” and Leviticus 20:13 states, “If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death.”

In Romans 1:26-27 of the New Testament, God remains consistent regarding homosexuality, “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful…”

The Declaration of Independence acknowledges God’s moral law in the phrase “the laws of nature and of nature’s God.” In a court case in 1841 Founding Father John Quincy Adams explained, “In the Declaration of Independence the Laws of Nature are announced and appealed to as identical with the laws of nature’s God, and as the foundation of all obligatory human laws.”

According to “nature’s God,” homosexuality is not natural. The term sodomy is derived from the story of Sodom and Gomorrah and was once considered a “crime against nature.” From the 1600’s to 1962 every state in America had sodomy laws. Sodomy was considered a felony and in many cases was punishable by death or a lengthy prison term. In his legal works Founding Father James Wilson stated; “The crime not to be named [sodomy], I pass in a total silence.” In Virginia, Thomas Jefferson authored a sodomy bill punishable by “castration.”

Ironically, in 1961, Illinois became the first state in the U.S. to do away with Sodomy Laws. According to Illinois Senator Heather Steans who presented the bill, requiring students to learn LGBT (homosexual) history is staying “consistent with state law.” I adamantly disagree – Illinois’s constitution and our Founding Fathers recognized God as the source of all moral law. If you are intent on legislating and teaching immorality, be solemnly warned, God will not be mocked!
